Entrepreneurship, by Hisrich, Peters and Shepherd is intended for the undergraduate and graduate courses in entrepreneurship and has been designed to instruct students on how to formulate, plan, and implement a new venture. Students are exposed to detailed descriptions of ‘how to’ embark on a new venture in a logical manner. Actual case studies and entrepreneur profiles help illustrate successful and not-so-successful ventures.
New co-author Dean Shepherd, assistant professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship at the University of Colorado – Boulder, has contributed a new chapter on entrepreneurial strategy, as well as revised the chapters on new venture growth.
Money Hunt Videos with Business Plans- Money Hunt is a television show where new entrepreneurs pitch their ideas to the pros (actual “venture capitalists”). There are five different videos (20 mins. each) AND the actual business plans that are critiqued can be accessed via the Hisrich website. Ideal for using in class lecture discussion, students are able to read actual business plans prior to watching the videos and learn in class while they review what the entrepreneurship pros say.
New! This edition of the text has an Online Learning Center (OLC) available to all adopters. This includes instructors and student resources including the use of Powerweb for Entrepreneurship.

Enhanced International coverage throughout adds to the currency and relevance of this edition.
A strong and up-to-date marketing chapter that emphasizes customer service, stronger marketing research and market segmentation
Hisrich/Peters/Shepherd maintains its renowned "from start to finish approach." This comprehensive text starts with entrepreneurial culture, onto the new venture strategies, financing the venture, and managing the ending the venture. After each of the four parts are 4 to 5 cases that match chapter content.
Hisrich places an increased emphasis on the presentation of the business plan to investors, the management team, and forecasting sales in the early stages of the start-up.
