|
A new management information systems title, launched into 2010 has taken out first prize at the 2010 Australian Educational Publishing Awards.
Baltzan & Lynch – WINNER Best tertiary Teaching & Learning package (adaptation)
Calling it an ‘excellent text’ and a ‘valuable student resource’, the judges drew particular attention to the ‘refreshing perspective’ and how IT is ‘neatly and comprehensively integrated’ throughout. The authors were further congratulated for presenting information in an accessible way, in jargon-free terms and for a well-structured layout.

The awards are judged for clarity of writing, pedagogical implications, illustrations, special features and characteristics, quality of subject matter, innovation and flair.
